Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder 2 Firmware 2.7 Issues!

Neuros Technology has officially announced that their Recorder 2 device, which converts and copies video/TV straight into the PSP, is having problems with the new 2.7 firmware, due to new MP4 headers slyly introduced by Sony in the new firmware. Not only is this issue affecting PSPs from properly recieving data, but also, all recorded MP4s using Recorder 2 before you upgraded to the new firmware will no longer work on your PSP. Neuros has mentioned they are currently working on a firmware update for their Recorder 2 which will resolve the problems, but in the meantime, stay away from the new 2.7 firmware if you have this converter until Sony or Neuros does something about it.

Here's what Neuros Technology has to say:
"We don’t think Sony did this on purpose, but, for now, PSPs with the upgraded firmware won’t play files recorded with the Recorder 2... a second result of this issue is that any files you may have recorded previously with the Recorder 2 would need to be converted to play on PSPs having the upgraded Version 2.7 firmware."
