Update mode is where the psp is in a state where its ready to update firmware. The psp has many modes like user mode, kernal, game, and update..


EDIT: Its pretty obvious what fanjita has in store for us. The thing thats going to benifit all HB users is loading the Eloader from the game menu via update mode!!!!! Just a guess.
