Magik has released a new homebrew tool allows you to play PMF files, legally. A PMF file is a kind of MPEG-2 stream, containing AVC video and ATRAC3 proprietary audio streams. Although such a player has been done before, this one manages to pull it off by legal means, so definitely use this method instead, if it interests you to view the gameboot.pmf's, and more.
