A few minutes ago, I accidently posted a thread twice. I edited one of them, deleted the original text, and put "please delete this", but a mod deleted the one I left unedited. I don't have a copy of the post that I made, and even though I'm sure it was an accident, I can't help but feel frustrated by this. My suggestion is to allow regular users to delete a thread if there are no replies to it. It would prevent incidents like this, and I certainly do not see a downside to allowing this. Another suggestion could be to allow users to save drafts of posts. Thanks for considering this, just trying to help.
