Don't take my word for it, because I'm not sure at all. I don't think Microsoft would have the validation process included in a Beta of Vista, because those upgrading from beta to beta would have to re-validate every time, and each Windows validation key can only be used 3 times. Again, don't take my word for it, wait for someone with Vista to reply.
