why would u want any bigger then 1.3
i cant ever see myself walkin around tryin to take pictures with my psp
thats what a camera is for you have to rember the psp is for gaming
if it was too high the pictures would be tooo big and would eat up all your memory and im sure u couldnt have 2mb picture files for games
sony isnt dumb they do research on every thing they do there would be a reason why its only 1.3mp
