ok if you wanted to switch that index.dat file or any other file in that directory with the ones from 1.00 then update to 1.5 thats been done before with 2.00 thats how 2.00 downgraded

and sony has fixed those files and if the ones from 2.01+ are altered with then it will brick ur psp showing no psp version.....
