| Hmmm. That's strange, as the downdater doesn't downgrade as such, it just writes unpacked 1.5 flash files to the Flash, so therefore the Downgrade might not be up to full standard.
The 2.0 downgrade actually uses the official sony updater to revert to 1.5, so therefore you should have an authentic 1.50, just as if you had updated from 1.00.
That is very strange.
However, Devhook is very hard to work out at first, so follow this guide and it should work:
1. Download a 2.00 or 2.50 update file
2. Using PBPunpacker or PSPBrew, extract the file called "Data.PSAR" to the root of you memory stick.
3. Make sure you have at least 25-35mb of free space on the MS
4. Download DevHook v0.41d
5. Unzip using WinRAR, and browse to the following folder "Devhook041d>MS_ROOT>" Extract both of the folders in this directory to the Root of the MS.
6. On the PSP, browse to Game>Memory Stick. Select "devhook firmware installer".
7. Follow the instructions in the application
8. When you're finished, open "DEVICE HOOK" from the game>Memory Stick Menu.
9. Hover over "Firmware" and press circle.
10. Depending on which Firmware update the DATA.PSAR was from, select the appropriate Firmware and press circle
11. Hover over "Boot select", and press circle. Select "Reboot XMB" and press circle.
12. Select "Start" from the menu. It should then reboot into a newer firmware . If not, and it freezes, try again. If still no luck, repeat steps 2, 3, and 7-11.
You need to repeat step 2, because the DATA.PSAR is automaticly deleted. |
