PSP KNOWN HARDWARE INFO LINKS

THIS IS A CALL TO ALL WHO KNOW....

Ok people, I need all links to known PSP hardware info.
Also, any info about how the software hardware structure of the PSP would greatly help me also. You might ask "WHY?"

Here's my plan. If I can get info on which chip is the flash or eeprom that holds the OS of the PSP, then I MAY be able to devise a PC to PSP hardware interface which will allow us to read/write the OS to/from the PSP, thereby allowing those unfortunate individuals (like myself) who upgraded past v2.00, to flash back to a previous version.

I'm talking about FORCING a flash here, circumnavigating the Sony protection B.S. altogether.

I have the knowledge howto build such a device, and I've had my PSP apart several times (just to get to know whats in there). I have a few links to some projects you guys may or may not have hear about: One is a Hardware-Hack to put an Apple I-trip (Audio to digital FM transmitter) INSIDE the PSP, and the other is a Hardware-Hack to put a 13 DB antenna on the PSP (thereby GREATLY increasing the WIFI range of the PSP).
I also have a GREAT link to a step by step Dissassembly of the PSP!
I'll look arund later and post those links when I find them again.

Noobs or untrained people, this kinda stuff voids your warranty, so DON'T Try This At Home! You Have Been Warned! I take No Responsibility for what You do with my ideas....

Specifically, if anyone knows which chip inside the PSP is the DATA storage/flash/EEPROM, and how much it holds or who makes it, that will get me started down the right path. I'd be willing to guinea-pig (sacrifice) my PSP to gain such knowledge for us. I've already built simular devices for other problems such as this, All successful, so I'm not afraid to go ahead with it, but I need a little internal knowledge of the PSP to begin. (I just bought the thing, and unfortunatly I got the WAN going and updated before I found out about the homebrew apps! DANGIT!

I may need help from a programmer to write the code to allow said device (which will be parallel port on the PC end) to talk to the PSP, so if anyone is up to that challenge, let me know.

Another chip I'm interested in knowing a little more about is the last one before video output to the LCD, as I'd like to build a Composite/SVideo output on the PSP too (I really can't believe Sony didn't do THAT for us!)
I know that there is a device coming out (or IS out) which will do it for you (to the tune of $100), but with my knowledge of video systems, I believe it should be able to happen for about $5 of parts. The device I saw advertised piggy-backed to the PSP and claimed to not void the warranty, so I assume that they are somehow picking up the video inductivly (IE no wires) I want a direct connection to the chip for optimal display.

OK, last but certainly not least, is there a good site that explains all the info we currently know about the hardware/sofware links in the PSP? Specifically, what steps does the thing go thru to boot up, how many bits is the data/processors, how much onboard ram does it have, What is the addressing structure, Etc. I've read quite a few posts here and elsewhere, but someone out there must havee a good site with all this stuff compiled on iit. I NEED that LINK!

SO, if you, or anyone you know has any of this info, please post it here, or email me (or catch me at deltatech_tony on yahoo messenger).
This could greatly benefit us all.

Obviously, all these kinds of projects will void the warranty of you PSP, So when/if I release them, I'll assume no responsibility for what YOU do to YOUR PSP's!!

Thanx for your time, and help.
