some games require updating and some games dont. its just another wau of sony convincing us to upgrade.

p.s. if you have a PSP with firmware 2.00 or below, DO NOT UPGRADE IF YOU WANT TO PLAY HOMEBREW OR USE ISO LOADERS. You can check your firmware by going to settings, system information, and then browse the next few options because I forget where to go next.
