Pointbat has just released the first version of Luminex, a slick C-based clone of Lumines. This is the third variation of the Lumines theme made into a homebrew game by PSP developers; the other two were Boxy and Luamines. The initial release of Luminex is pretty good with a decent FPS and combination point calculations. Great work Pointbat, and good luck in the NeoFlash coding competition!
