Ookm told the world that he could downgrade a TA-082 because he discovered that the NAND flash has it's image verified and that the motherboard had little to do with it. It was mainly what was written and how it was done that caused problems. Testing his theory, I think he successfully downgraded a TA-082 (equipped with a home-made mod-chip).

What`s happenning here is that he dumps and creates an image of YOUR particular NAND flash, allowing the software downdater/downgrader to successfully write the 1.5 firmware using a method specified for your flash chip.

Hopefully he will release his NAND image creation utility(s) and method(s). Otherwise, he'll be flocked with requests to create an image. Bear in mind that as with the first release of the 2.xx downdater, success is not guaruneed.
