Yoshihiro has just released the initial public beta of PSX-P, the first homebrew PS1 emulator for the PSP. Though Sony plans to release an official PS1 emulator, with downloadable (paid) games, in the coming months, it looks like the homebrew scene has, once again, pushed ahead of Sony's plans, and expanded the capabilities of the PSP.
PSX-P works on all firmwares 1.0 to 2.71, and offers decent emulation, due to be improved in future releases as the project is streamlined, and dynarec image rendering is added. Check out this video that PSP3D.com forum user
MrDank made, showing the emulator in action
Though this news is fantastic, remember, the downloading of ISOs is illegal, so do not discuss of stuff of that nature on PSP3D.com.
