Yoshihiro, the talented coder and PSP hacker, has left the PSP scene due to recent happenings, accusations, and rumors.
Yoshihiro had his name emblazened on some of the best PSP hacks, like the PSP Version Changer. He also played a part in making the FIRST flash-writing application, the button swapper (swap X AND O buttons on the PSP), and he thought of the method for the 2.0+ downgrader. He is mostly responsible for the creation of the 2.0 downgrader.
A new build of the PSX-P (PS1 emulator by Yoshihiro) will be released, in which he will include the source (this is one of argument that made him lose his reputation; he was accused of not including the source code and effectively stealing the emulator's code from an existing PS1 emulator under GPL protection).
What do you think? Is his departure a thing of good or bad for the future of the PSP community?
