Primarily because Sony has NO obligation to provide you with the lower firmware. If you're a minor and you decide that you're going to accept the agreement, you do so of your own will, and thus are not bound by it. However, this also means Sony holds no responsibility. There IS no contract between you. Therefore, there is no obligation.
In fact, if you read the bottom part of the post, it says that Sony could SUE YOU for falsifying a legal document. | LOL burn  |
