| Extract the files (it's a tarball, so it's native to linux), pull up your consle, browse to where you extracted it to, and then type in "make" and press enter.
Also, since you are using ubuntu, you should be able to go to the package manager and it will auto-install it for you from the latest online copy. Use that or pull up your console and type "apt-get install aircrack" (without the quotes, of corse).
