If you Download Music Click Here. Very Informing.!!! OK so you download music from the p2p networks like; Limewire,Morpheus,Ares,Bearshare etc. and you worry about getting caught by the RIAA. Well i have some great news. I just saved 15% or more on my car insurance be switching to Geico.
Lol just a little humor but back to the subject. The RIAA only can see what you are uploading. For them to see what you are downloading they would have to be spying on your internet connection which is illegal. So pretty much if you are sharing your files thats the only way they can see you because you are contributing to the P2p network. The second option would be to open your wifi connection and if you do get caught they will have to drop the case because all you can say is that it was not you and someone may have been using your wifi. They cannot ceize your computer in the civil court which is where you would be quaranteened too. But ya just wanted to spread the message over here too. I help opperate a private encrypted P2p network and have had many questiosn about it so thats why im passing it on here.
Also I got some questoins askign if downloadin through a proxy server will avoid being caught by the RIAA.
The answer to this is NO. Look at a proxy and the internet connectoin you have like this. You have a 2 way stream (upload and download) Browsing through a proxy pretty much hides your ip but where is it returning to. Its returning to your ip address so this really does not stop anything.
**********Please not that this is only for educational purposes only and i in no way encourage anyone to perform any illegal activities******)
