Now, we can't even do that. Flash0 refuses to be renamed, and there's no kernel mode. So this isn't just a matter of finding a kernel access exploit anymore. It's a matter of figuring out how to rename flash0 when the system absolutely refuses to do so.
From what I've seen, the general consensus among developers - including folks like Fanjita, Dark_AleX, and Mathieulh - seems to be that downgrading 2.80 and above won't happen for a long time. We're talking about several months here, possibly even a year or more. |
