Windows on PS3?

I was just reading reports on how the PS3 sold out on BBC News (I was bored), and my mouse wandered over to the specs page. I was looking through them, thinking, 'These specs are sweet, some are better than my PC, in fact', when the obvious thought struck me - Would it be possible to install Windows XP/Vista on the PS3?

Think about it... It has all the specs you'd need, plus it can run Linux. Wouldn't Linux support make it able to run XP, at least through VMware?

If it can, would the RAM be upgradeable, as it only has 512 MB of it, and I'd like to upgrade it to 1 GB, or maybe even 2. I know you can replace the hard drive for a larger one, and the USB ports would make it possible to attach a HD-DVD drive. What d'ya think?
