Basically, homebrew for firmware 1.5 has to be split into two folders, one with a %, the other without. This is called KXPLOITing. Homebrew for other firmwares that support homebrew (namely 1.00 and 2.00-2.8 (via eLoader)) cannot be KXPLOITed, and homebrew for custom firmwares can be either KXPLOITed or non-KXPLOITed.
