* want this cleary understood this is not a slight against you just a reason I think they might not be using the full 1.8 gig. Yes I did read through your post fully Sonik. When you stop to think about it. The PS2 and the PSP are fairly close. So the ideas would still be the same on production. Just the following is what I think..
Well heres the issue as I see it. It might only hold 1.8 gig and games are still not fully using the 1.8 gig. Why put out games that people will ISO "backup" then oops click that mouse button one too many times on the web. And put that iso out there. You want better games. I think you should think about buying them instead or ripping off the people who make the games you play.
When you play that downloaded iso of GTA or whatever new game. Why should the company who made it care whether they create better games if you aren't buying it you are just waiting until somone slips a ISO on the web?
Yes I do think homebrew programs are interesting, But not the kind that will rip a game iso then let you distribute it. Things like a pda program or even allowing you to create your own games would be cool. If you want better games then pay for them and give those people who worked on the game there due. Im not saying everyone does this. Im just saying if you download a ISO for a newer game and don't pay for it then don't complain about whether or not they are using them to there fullest potential. And the You meaning everyone in general. ..
If you feel the need to flame me no problem.. But that is only my two cents... |
With the prices being only about 20$ less than the X-Box 360 games no wonder peopel are trying so hard to get iso. If Sony thought at all tehy would price games based on the length. A game that is short like GTA say 20$ say a better game San Andreas then ya 50$ might be acceptable. But I am only buying UMD not iso booting, but I am totally fed up with prices...
