to setup up devhook 0.50 you need five items (asuming you got the pc and psp) 1. devhook 0.50. 2. pbpunpacker. 3. 2.80 update. 4. 2.82 update. 5. psar firmware decrypter that can decrypt 2.80+ firmwares

1 install pbp unpacker and extract the data.psar's from the 2.80 and 2.82 updates (note which is which)
2 copy the 2.80 data.psar to the root of your psp memstick
3 install the psar dumper and use accordingly to dump the 2.80
4 copy the ms0:/F0/kd/audio.prx to a folder on your computer as a backup
5 delete the folder F0 on the memstick and the data.psar
6 copy the 2.82 data.psar to the memstick and dump the 2.82 psar
7 move the folder F0 from the memstick root to ms0:/dh/282
8 rename "ms0:/dh/282/F0/KD/audio.prx" to "audio.bak"
9 copy the Audio.prx from step 4 to the folder ms0:/dh/282/F0/KD/
10 run the devhook 0.50 from the xmb as per usual and enjoy 2.82 emulation
