Mmm, tasty Nerdism.
The first two modifications for the Wii and it's peripheral's hardware have emerged.
The first is the 'PulseVU' by 'SickMods'. This mod changes the pattern of the LED's, so it can either pulse at a constant rate, or react to sound. This is bypassed by the Wii itself, so if it wants to fade, the console will get it's way. The hardware mod kits and instructions will be released soon, the mod kit costing $20. Check out the blog,

The second is the Wii Power Glove. By an unknown maker, this is a mod of the controller hardware, allowing the finger movemoent to be used as buttons, and the arm movement to move the cursor. Try to ignore the fat side-kick cat trying to escape from the nerd's layer.
