How to install Devhook with a 3.02 dump to your PSP.
What you will need...
- An MS, over 32MB in size (though 32MB may be possible).
- A PSP, version 1.50 or 2.71 SE-B or over, but for SE-B+, you need to mod the config, see below. SE-A not supported.
- A computer with this guide on it.
Notes for SE-B+ users
You need to mod the config for SE-B+ users, as there is a problem with folders that needs to be fixed; however this is easy. Follow these instructions;
- Turn off your PSP.
- Turn it on again, holding R.
- The config menu will show up. Go to Configuration.
- Find the option called 'Game folder homebrew' on the list, make sure the text that follows it is '(1.50 homebrew)'. If it isn't, toggle it.
- Click on Back, then Exit.

Anywho, onto the tutorial...
Main Tutorial- Download the install archive here.
- Extract the entire contents of the install archive to your PSP. This can be easily done by opening the archive in WinRAR, selecting all the files and folders contained in the folder, then selecting 'Extract...' and selecting your PSP's drive letter (E:\, F:\, etc.).
- Once it's done, go back onto your PSP and start the app called 'Devhook firmware installer', start it, and press X. The firmware is being installed onto your MS.
- Once it's done, congrats! 3.02 has been installed for emulation onto your PSP. To start it...
- Run the app called 'DEVHOOK0.52 launcher BETA' from your PSP's menu.
- Select FIRMWARE, then 3.02, then Start.
- Once it's loaded, a pop-up will come up; press O to close it. You're now emulating 3.02!
