Not for a long time. We need an exploit or hole in the firmware to be able to run custom code. We need alot of luck, time and manpower to find an exploit, so don't expect one til a few months into 2007, if at all. If/when we do, it's unlikely to be anything more than unstable, simple games like pong and tetris until an eloader is released. Then, we'll be able to load certain normal EBOOT homebrew, but not things like iRshell, Xflash, or a firmware or ISO loader. (An ISO loader is required to emulate games from the memory stick, a firmware loader [Devhook] allows you to emlate a later firmware and play later games, etc.).
PS, The emulation of UMD ISOs (Ie, ones downloaded or ripped from a game) is illegal. Talking about them publicly isn't allowed on most forums. You'll get help if you PM one of the more helpful and experianced people (DorkDork and myself included), but please don't post about them.
Saying you're fed up of buying games is a bad attitude to have, though.
