Dont upgrade! but of you truly want to (you would be the biggest fool ever but...) i had the same problem . the only way to fix it is to update from a UMD. once you update to a new firmware you can use the downloadable update to update to 3.02.

update via UMD 2.XX>mem 3.02>3.02
