Alright guys i hope this helps. Last night I found this link that walks you through all the steps of downgrading from 2.8 ( PSP Vault: Firmware 2.80-to-1.50 (Easy Downgrader) Guide :: PSP-Vault :: PSP downloads, community, news ). I followed the directons given by them exactly and it worked just fine. Hope this rests your fears for those of you who were afraid to downgrade. Just make sure ur psp isn't a TA-082.
