the easiest way to delete the jap and chinese fonts is use the "flash agent" it has the option to remove the font files, or copy the ltn0.pgf and make 2 copies named "gb3s1518.bwfon" and "jpn0.pgf" and place in the flash0:\fonts this will reduce the two fonts from 1mb and 1.5 mb to 64kb each.
p.s. NEVER just delete files try to replace.

and yes socoms_greatest rename to gameboot.pmf and copy and paste it into flash0:\vsh\resource\
p.p.s. id recommend either copying and paste or drag and drop as opposed to delete the file and drag it in as you will only overwrite the one files as deleting you may delete the wrong file or multiple. and remember to backup your flash0 files before overwriting (maybe even backup entire flash0 for safety )
