| if the standard three fingered saulte (ctrl-alt-del) doesn't work, hit start>run and type "taskmgr" and hit run. You quite possibly have a vrius, although there is a way to disble it in windows (the highschool I work at has it disabled to prevent students from shuting down our software). Another option is to look for something called "Process Explorer" one google. It's an enhanced (and free!) taskmanager made for Microsoft by a company they bought out (System Internals). Should be hosted on microsoft.com somewhere.
