I was wondering what would be the best thing to get for my Godson for his birthday. I want to spend £180 max; and was thinking either a Wii or a PC with about 512mb RAM and a 2Ghz CPU, both of which I can get for that price.

Which one should I go for? He's 14, and likes to program, but also likes video games. ATM his PC has 128mb RAM and a 600Mhz CPU.
