Hi all,

I'm planning on buying a PSP this weekend, probably off Craigslist. I have a few noob questions, so if someone could help me out, that'd be great! I like this forum more than the other PSP forums out there b/c everyone seems helpful

1) If I'm buying a used PSP, what are the most important things I should be looking for to make sure I can downgrade/use custom firmware as easily as possible? ie I basically want to be able to use emulators and PS1 games as well as play regular PSP games.

2) Also, if/when I buy a PSP off craigslist, what should I look for to make sure it's not a dud (ie dead pixels, etc?) I'm trying to make sure I think of everything before I give the other person my cash.

3) If I bought a new PSP, is it likely I wouldn't be able to do all the cool stuff??
