I know it has been a while since we have heard from DickyDick1969 about his Pimpstreamer. Well for those of you who remember Pimpstreamer well here is an update for all of you. For those of you who don't remember this app or don't kno what this is and it does then here is a summary for you.

Well basically what this app does is allows you to view your music, videos, and RSS feed on your PSP wirelessly. Without having to move it from your computer to your PSP. Like having a remote control. You can also view pictures on your PSP. You can do all this by reading the read me and following the instructions. Definition of Pimpstreamer straight from the website http://www.pimpware.org/: It is a realtime video/audio streamer from your PC to your PSP (Playstation Portable). Any format/size avi/mpeg/wmv/etc can be streamed without any delay.

Now with an extra addition: any FLV capable browser/system can also use PiMPStreamer (including Wii or PS3).

No need for muxing, converting etc..Just get some WIFI connection and you can watch your flicks everywere! (Streams even over internet).

Remember for the PSP you install the PSP binaries in order to stream, for the other systems you use the internal webbrowser of the system to connect to pimpstreamer.

DickyDick1969 has made an update to his Pimpstreamer bring it up to version 0.90.

Changes made to Pimpstreamer since the last update:

He has fixed it to make it a WPA version that works now. DickyDick1969 has also added in this version to just press the home button and the app quits. The setup will install the PSP versions for both 1.5 and 3.XX FWs. Also note, that on Vista don't use the checkbox to install both the PSP software and the actual software in the installion process. Just install the PSP software after.
