dork talked me through the ps1/psx game, i put on crash bandicoot lolz

i wanna give final fantasy 8 now, the one i found there i multiple discs each with 3 parts, am i able to have jsut part 1,2 and 3 of disc one, then wen i get to disc 2 stage, swap them?
