Well, not impossible. I think the vshmain.prx contains the Recovery mode, and if you delete that, the Recovery mode goes too. But no themes or anything requires doing anything to that, so as long as you only download homebrew from here, dl.qj.net and psp-homebrew.eu you'll be fine and you won't get a Trojan.
