A vulnerability has been identified in Libpng, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the "png_handle_tRNS()" [pngrutil.c] function when processing a PNG image with a malformed tRNS chunk, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an application linked against a vulnerable library, creating a denial of service condition.
