I think you can upgrade to a Dark_AleX custom firmware straight from 1.62 IE-D with the easy installer. Just type out '3.40 oea easy installer' or '3.40 oe a easy installer' in Google and download it. It is just like an eboot program, except it will upgrade you. [You need at least 75% to use the D_A custom firmware upgrader]
