I had something like this happen when I was using 3.40 OE. Try auto booting your recovery program. I think it is under the "Configuration" option in the Recovery menu. If that doesn't work, try removing your memory stick while booting. And if that doesn't work try using the Pandora Battery to return to 1.50.
