All right, here's some important stuff. - While the PSP is turning on, you can hold R to go into Recovery Mode to, well, recover your PSP, and change some custom firmware-specific settings.
- Try out your homebrew. Does it work? Yes? Great! No? Follow these steps -
- Boot into Recovery Mode by holding R while the PSP is turning on.
- Go into Configuration.
- Change 'GAME folder homebrew' to '1.50 kernel'.
- Go on Back, then Exit.
If that didn't work, you'll need to install the 1.50 kernel addon v2 for 3.71 M33, or better yet, install 3.80 M33, then the 1.50 kernel addon for 3.80 M33. - You can activate USB Mode for the UMD Drive, or any of the flashes, instead of the MS by pressing Home (or it might be Select) at the XMB, and changing the option there.
- I strongly recommend upgrading to 3.80 M33-5! It gives you some awesome new features.
