not, really as far as i know. i believe you need to register to get the 90 day (i think its 90) warranty from sony. obviously it isn't going to cover any issues if you attempt to hack it, but you can always claim it happened during a firmware update (power issue, memstick issue, possible bad update file). anyways i think if your register your psp you might get sent demos disk, if they still do that.
