What with the PSP now having been through three different re-designs (1k, 2k, and 3k), it's probably about time for that smashing new remake of the system, eh? Since the DS has just received it's fair share of a remodeling, I'd say it's Sony's time to do just the same with their handheld. Well ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the PSP Go.
Yes, it's finally here, and packs a punch as well. While not meant to replace the 3000 model (as stated in the above video), the PSP Go boasts a heap of excellent new features. Here they are:
-3.8-inch display (resolution is undisclosed)
-43 percent lighter than the PSP-3000
-16GB of Flash storage
-Bluetooth built-in; supports handset tethering and BT headsets
-No UMD drive (finally)
-Memory Stick Micro slot
-New Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet and new Metal Gear Solid (!) on the way
-Full PlayStation Network support (movie and TV rentals / purchases)
-Integration with PlayStation 3 (works the same as the PSP-3000 does)
-Sony views each of its products as "10-year lifecycle products," so the PSP "needs to live on."
So I'd say that E3 2009 already looks promising to me. I mean come on, 16 GB internal storage? That's the good stuff right there. Anyhow, more info and pictures can be found at the link below!
