Has anyone contacted Emergency Exit about releasing the source code if they do not plan to continue? Or are they sore about piracy?

Anyway, it appears Quake 2 PSP stops or crashes everytime when it tries to load the tank model tris file if you use Quake 2 demo pak file. Maybe it's a memory thing or something.

However if you use the full Quake 2 pak file then it'll successfully load level 1... but then freezes.. apprently it doesn't render the ceiling of level 1....


Anyway, I been looking into finding some programmers to help port Quake 2 to PSP again. I compared the code used for Doom PSP & Quake 1 PSP.. apparently they all were based off MIPS related Pocket PC variants of Doom & Quake 1. I did try looking for Quake 2 MIPS variant.. it does exist but source code is hard to get. Once we have Quake 2 MIPS code then it's relatively easy to port to PSP.
