yes its possible, u have to have a web server on ur computer then hook up the hhd drive to the comp u set it up, then on ur psp u would go to HTTP:/your ip adress, and acess the files you can download the stuff to ur memory stick anywhere u have a wifi signal then acess it, i have done it before
