homebrew games are things that people like you and me make,not sony! and there are dif types,like emulators and apps and browsers(which i hear suck) and there are games that people make for you to play! usually just a port(a remake of a game,simply)but they are good,,some actually go commando and CREATE theyre own games...but yeah this is only ofr FW 1.00,1.50.and some 2.0 nothing else!!
