| I have no arguments that PSP is better for all around entertainment. However, all the extra features are what makes it so expensive. To be able to watch a movie, listen to music, or browse the internet for anything more than to find someone to play a game against in my opinion is not necessary. If those features didn't exist the PSP would be less money which would be a huge plus for the PSP. Sony could reinvest the money into the games. It would also use less battery, and would not need upgrades or downgrades of firmware. In terms of online play, Nintendo has big plans with Wifi. Although Gamecube was never successful with online play, it was because they had no intention to put in online. They didn't do the online support, it was the individual game manufacturers that did. Thats why i think that since Nintendo is putting forth the effort (better late than never), it will be much better than what people are expecting. It's already up and apprently (i have yet to get mario kart ds) its very easy to work with. When Nintendo put its mind to something it normally is done very well and for not much money (ok yes i do remeber the virtual boy, everyone makes a mistake). Call it a kiddie game if you want but Nintendogs has sold a LOT of copies in Japan and the US because of the way you interact with the game, touch control, voice control, makes what some would call a kiddie game into something Revolutionary. Nintendo has some big plans, and i honeslty can't wait to find out what exactly it all is. |
