Another Downgrade Idea...

This will only work provided we have the public key!!!

What if we could unsolder PSP's flash, read the data on a PC, modify the firmware and then re-encode it? We could add our own exploit by just changing a few bits and then have it flashed again! Then use the exploit we inserted to downgrade and bla bla bla...

I think the firmware is decoded on the chip. If this is possible we could change the version number of an 1.5 firmware and reencode the whole thing again with the public key but I think this goes a little far from true...

Let someone who knows how to code answer on this... And PLEASE don't flame... I just dropped an idea!
