You'd have to talk with the developers why they are having problems. Id say its either something to do with performance, eg, when they have the sound being emulated it slows everything down really bad, so they wanted to release it without sound rather than not at all. The other possibility is that yeah, there are just diff shyte they need to do to get it running (which is prolly more likely) under the eloader and its restrictions. Eg, they use a different method to emulate the sound rather than the snes etc and maybe it requires kernel mode so they're having to re-do it. Unsure. But nothing u'd be able to do without the source
