What about a hardware mod? I think it is possible and it could be as simple as building a pcb with 2 nand flash chips with a switch to go in between the current firmware and 1.5. The switch could just go to a spot near the memory stick slot or another remote location to prevent accidental switching while the unit is on. Heck it could even take the form of a certain button combination from a hacked psp remote (i.e. up + down volume at the same time, then left, right, left, right, down, down.) And space is not a problem since i read how to install an itrip inside the psp with only one small hole in the back to make it fit. This would be the mod to end all mods for the psp since it would mean everyone could have the best of both worlds.
