HardHat has emailed us with the first release of his homebrew RPG game, based on the OpenGladiator PC-game source. The cool thing about this RPG is that it is fully modable, using a PC-based OpenGladiator level editor, which is a first for homebrew RPG games. Great job HardHat, this looks to be one of the greatest RPG ports so far!



Here's what HardHat has to say:
"...It is based on version 0.98 of openglad which is a GPLed commercial game from the mid-ninties. For release 1, it is ported fairly well to the PSP, with some key remapping and mouse emulation. I only need to add a keyboard mode to the text entry fields to have access to absolutely everything. Despite that limitation I believe it is completely playable.

The nice thing is that it has a PC-based level editor available, so user mods are quite possible. And I often hear people asking for an RPG engine that is modable."
