1.50, 2.50 ver., 2.60 ver. (this is not a hacking breakthrough. so dont get excited)

Ok so i started playing around with a hex editor and a 1.50 eboot. I clicked ctrl + F and looked for all the 1.50 in the whole eboot. I switched them all to2.60 and ran the eboot on my psp. The updater said update to version 2.60 but when i clicked on it it said there was no need to update. I think this means that we need the key to sonys encription to actually access the code part of the eboot and change it. I pressed CTRL + F again and tried to fidn 1.0. I fould 1.00 and changed it too 2.50. That 1.00 was in the code of the eboot. The moment i ran the file on my psp it said the file was corrupted. Any ideas?

I have made a conclution though.

If you remember the guys that modified the 2.60 eboot and made it say 1.50. All they did was change the file name from 2.60 to 1.50. Even if the file did work you would not be updateing to 1.50...you would be updating to 2.60 and you wouldnt know it untill it was too late. We need a way to modify the code and crack the incription. I think thats the only way...
