its just a certain supplier is doing Japanese imports and they are advertising that they are region free. I have got a psp but my mrs won't let me open it until christmas and I don't know what version it is. I bought it very recently and am guessing it is going to be a 2.01. I am wondering whether to take it back and get one from the other supplier. They have a batch of 50 just in!
